Boulder, Colorado, June 23, 2008 - People Productions has several new services associated with Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch. These services include customized buttons that launch websites or videos, optimization of Web sites for the Safari browser, and custom applications for media playback and server-side interaction using the iPhone SDK (Software Development Kit). People Productions also offers consulting services for companies interested in using the iPhone and iPod Touch in their marketing, training and other business initiatives.

When programmed by People Productions, these devices extend far beyond what a CD-ROM or DVD can offer, such as a customized media library, order forms, PDF viewing, and other features.

People Productions is creating many programs that expand the marketing and e-commerce usages of the iPhone and iPod touch. Some examples include e-learning applications that could be used to educate a sales team or mobile e-commerce capabilities to increase sales opportunities ‘on the go.’ Location aware social networking programs can connect people and customized city and resort guides that could be used by a ski resort to bring in more advertising revenue through partnerships. A customizable media player has been created using logos and other branding opportunities so sales people can have an immersive environment that can play back a promotional video on the road - without having to start up their laptop.

Other programs include a chat application that can bring a company’s sales or tech staff in closer communication with customers, a special ‘Power-Point-like’ slide-show application, and business tools including shared task lists and expense reporting.

Apple, Inc., has refreshed their product line with a new ‘3G’ iPhone. This phone has GPS, more storage, motion sensitivity and a multi-touch screen that People Productions can access and use in their programs. For example, the new GPS location tracking can allow a delivery service to track where all their couriers are and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
