Boulder, Colorado, February 11, 2009 - Blu-ray, the best selling method for getting High Definition video onto your plasma TV, has ushered in the next generation of home theater movie viewing. Previously limited to Hollywood, People Productions is now one of the first companies in Colorado helping business and consumers take advantage of this cutting-edge technology.

Memorex (Cerritos, CA), TDA Advertising (Boulder, CO) and Spillt (Denver, CO) contracted People Productions to produce the Blu-ray disc Memorex used to highlight their brand new Blu-ray player and HD screens at the CES show in Las Vegas. While companies in New York City and California were also screened as potential suppliers of the Blu-ray discs that were needed, People Productions was chosen due to budget, location and the ability to work with a tight deadline. “This was the first time Memorex was showing their new Blu-ray player to the public and needed the discs we created to play perfectly,” said Don Poe, Head of Production for People Productions.

People Productions also offers other HD delivery options such as Flash, encoding for the Internet and hardware solutions to fit the specific needs and budgets of a project. Don Poe advises, “Blu-Ray and HD allows our customers to future-proof their investment in their video productions. This summer, analog video will no longer be broadcast over the air. Working in HD allows assets produced today to live in the future as the general public converts to HD television.”
