Boulder, Colorado, April 22, 2009 - People Productions and Yoga Journal recently completed a 3 DVD set titled “John Friend’s Anusara Yoga Grand Gathering” which captured Friend’s advanced hatha yoga class at the annual Yoga Journal conference in Estes Park, Colorado. Originally captured with multiple High Definition cameras and displayed on large screens at the conference so that all attendees had a clear view of the instruction, it was then edited down into 7 hours of training material accompanied by an interview with Mr. Friend.

John Friend is one of the most charismatic and respected hatha yoga teachers in the country. Friend  blends a deep knowledge of biomechanics and yoga philosophy with a sense of humor. In 1997 John founded Anusara Yoga which is regarded as a preeminent hatha yoga school and has an expanding presence in countries throughout the world. For more than 30 years, Yoga Journal has reported on the expansion and revolution of the yoga movement.
