Local Filmmakers get 1 minute of fame

Boulder, Colorado, September 29, 2009 - People Productions is proud to announce the winners of the 2009 Short Film Contest. As part of their celebration of 25 years in Boulder, People Productions sponsored a short film festival at this year’s Boulder Outdoor Cinema. Local movie makers submitted their short films, with the best being shown on the big screen before the movies that were shown every Saturday this Summer.

Russell Hess won first place with “Love to Scrub.” Second Place went to John Moore’s “Fife: The Hard Way.” Darra Stone won third place with “Hand Animated Wish.” The prizes include a FLIP HD Digital Camera, a high-definition Blu-ray Player, and a free class and membership to Boulder Digital Arts, an organization that People Productions
